A good start to Saturday's Big 12 Conference contest in Morgantown on national television was derailed by a slow finish as West Virginia University fell to Iowa State by a 28-16 score in college football action.
The Mountaineers fell to 3-3 with the setback. The Cyclones are now 6-0 and are currently ranked No. 9 in the nation.
WVU will look to get back on track when it hosts nationally ranked Kansas State this Saturday in another nationally televised game in prime time. The contest in Morgantown begins at 7:30 p.m.
