Ribbon Cut on Ready Box Portable Storage

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on November 18, 2023

A ribbon cutting for Ready Box Portable Storage was held by the Harrison County Chamber on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Owners Matt and Marrissa Ashburn are providing a new and innovative way to assist with storage needs in our community.

“We always thought PODS was an intriguing concept and a convenient option for moving/storage that people here didn't have access to,” said Matt Ashburn. “Trying to fill that void in the market is what inspired us to start Ready Box.  We pride ourselves on convenience and flexibility. Customers can use our containers for on-site storage and/or moving. There are no time commitments or contracts.”

The Ashburns said the support from the community has been great and that people are excited to finally have a portable storage option in North Central West Virginia.

Marrissa is a 2006 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and 2012 graduate of Fairmont State University. Matt grew up in Fairmont and is a 2001 graduate of Fairmont Senior and 2005 graduate of WVU.  They currently live in Bridgeport with their children Tenley and Brady.
