Road Work on Shinnston Pike Begins Today

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a traffic delay/lane closure on US 19, Shinnston Pike beginning today through Friday, Sept. 25 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. (24/7).
The purpose of the traffic delay/lane closure is the beginning of a slide correction project (Micropile System). Traffic will be narrowed to a single lane only. Traffic Signals will be in place to direct traffic 24/7.
Alternate routes will be US 50 & County Route 24.
Expect delays.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
