School Superintendent Stutler Announces Retirement

Harrison County Schools Superintendent Dora Stutler has announced her retirement, effective September 30, 2026.
The announcement came via an email from Harrison County Schools.
After careful consideration, Stutler made the decision to retire in order to focus on family needs related to her husband's ongoing health challenges.
"It has been a true honor and privilege to serve the students, staff, families, and communities of Harrison County," said Stutler. "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated staff over my 30-year career."
Stutler expressed her appreciation for the support and trust she has received throughout her career and stated that she remains confident in the continued success and bright future of Harrison County Schools.
