Secretary of State Warner Okay after Friday Accident

West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner was in an accident on Friday, Feb. 13 that saw his vehicle come to rest on its side.
Warner was traveling to Pendleton County for a voter registration event along with an awards presentation when the incident occurred. 
Although had his vitals checked, as well as his general condition in an ambulance, he did not suffer any serious injuries, he reported in a social media post.

“I really appreciated the professionalism of the volunteer firefighter who arrived first and directed traffic, the (Pendleton) County Sheriff Deputies and State Police as well as (Pendleton) County Commissioner Jimmie Bennett,” Warner said in a post.
Warner said he did not have a scratch. However, the following day he reported being sore, having a stiff neck and headache.
The wreck was identified by first responders via an SOS call from the emergency response system in Warner’s cell phone.
