The Market Place Welcomes Newest Retail Business

While one business recently left a Bridgeport business development, another has recently opened its doors.
The Market Place, where the developer recently confirmed that Shrimpy & Snappy’s Seafood had shut down, is now home to another new business. David Biafora of Metro Property Management, which manages the development of The Market Place, said they have added Luxe
Nails & Spa has opened.

“This is the type of variety we want to be included in The Market Place,” said Biafora. “You want a good mix of retail and business options to draw customers.”
The new business is located in the same building where Shrimpy & Snappy’s was located. It is the furthest building back in the development, which is the property sitting just outside the Bridgeport City limits.
According to a worker, the business opened on April 29. As of early this week, they were still advertising for grand opening specials.
As one would imagine, they offer manicures, pedicures, and multiple other services. The workers said, “anything salon related,” they had at their disposal.

Business hours posted on their door are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. They are open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Walk-ins are welcome. You can also call the number above for an appointment.
The Market Place is located just past the main entrance to White Oaks. It is on the same side of the road as that entrance.
