Time Travel: Bridgeport High's 2008 Girls Swim Team Champs and the 1912 Johnstown Community Band

Bridgeport High School's swimming program has a long and rich history of winning under the guidance of Jan Grisso. Shown above is the 2008 state swim champs. The team finished the year with a 13-0 record.
Entertainers didn't always travel by plane, bus, train or limosuines. As this 1912 photo shows, a horse drawn carriage did the trick for the local Johnstown Community Band.
