Job Status: Part-time
Hourly Wage: $10 – $11
 
Job Summary:
The City of Bridgeport Public Library is in search of a part-time Library Page. This individual will do routine manual-clerical work performed under the immediate supervision of the Circulation Supervisor. The Page’s primary duty is shelving books, reading shelves, and maintaining the collections in correct order. Secondary duties include assisting patrons in locating books and assisting Aides in pulling books when requested. This is a part-time position and requires working days, evenings, and weekends as scheduled.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED, preferably with some experience in library work.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with the public and coworkers in a courteous and tactful manner.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications.
