Job Status: Part-time/Non-exempt

Hourly Wage: $11.88

Reports to: Director of Parks & Recreation

 

Job Summary:

The City of Bridgeport Parks & Recreation Department is seeking applications for a part-time Receptionist position at the Benedum Civic Center. Duties include but are not limited to answering and directing phone calls, greeting guests, collecting payment for rentals, classes, etc., and carrying out other clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc. Additional duties as assigned. Applicants must be available to work 4 – 16 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Some clerical experience preferred. The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office, have the ability to use copiers, fax machines, scan and print documents, and possess phone and customer service skills.
