Reports to: The Bridge Sports Complex General Manager

Salary: $58,000 - $65,000

Job Summary & Qualifications:

The City of Bridgeport is accepting applications for a full-time, year-round Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Business Development position at The Bridge Sports Complex. This position is one of two AGM positions that will work closely with the General Manager. The AGM of Business Development will primarily focus on revenue producing activities and programs that take place at the complex. This position will lead a variety of teams that are focused on delivering unparallel sports and entertainment to our patrons. Candidate must possess strong leadership skills and be highly organized. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· 4-year degree in business management, sports management, or related field

· 3 years’ experience in sports or entertainment industry

· Strong computing background with experience in Excel and registration platforms

· Experience negotiating potential rental agreements with local or regional organizers

· Experience creating yearly calendar of events

· Familiarity with budgets in excess of $300,000
