Citywide Spring Clean-up

This event, hosted by the City of Bridgeport, will run the week of May 5th, 2025 and the week of May 12th, 2025. Please visit the City's Facebook page or Connect-Bridgeport for the daily schedule.

This is a free event to City residents to get rid of unwanted items around the house. Prohibited items include: appliances containing freon, asphalt, cement, concrete; automobile parts; batteries; construction waste; dead animals; demolition waste; dirt and rocks; free flowing liquids; gasoline; hazardous waste (as defined by any State DEP or EPA listing); industrial waste; infectious waste; medical waste; paint, oil, chemicals, pesticides; propane tanks; scrap metal; sewage sludge; and yard waste.
