Women’s Giving Circle of North Central West Virginia Spring Bash

The Women’s Giving Circle of North Central West Virginia (WGC), a component fund of Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia, Inc. (YCF), is hosting its annual Spring Bash on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place.

This event is open to all women in the community who would like to learn about the WGC and how to get involved. Attendees will hear from current WGC grant recipients who will share how funding has been used to strengthen the lives of women and girls in the community. Admission is $25 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and live steel drum music. Cash or check will be accepted at the door. The WGC is dedicated to engaging women of all generations in the power of community philanthropy. The mission is to build a community of thoughtful, effective women philanthropists and create a legacy to address the needs of women and girls in North Central West Virginia. Each year, the WGC awards grants to organizations serving women in girls in the region. Since its inception in 2014, the WGC has awarded over $50,000 to local nonprofits. For more information about the WGC, visit its website at www.womensgivingcircleofncwv.org. For more information, please visit YCF’s website at: http://www.ycfwv.org, or call (304) 296-3433.
