Bridgeport Public Library - Chess Tournament

Bridgeport, WV – The Bridgeport Public Library will again partner with the Harrison County Chess Club, led by Bob Greer, to provide its ninth chess tournament on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. All chess enthusiasts and competitors are invited to the tournament!

Registration runs from 12:00pm to 12:15pm if not registered prior to July 20th. Preregistration is preferred. Registration forms are available at the library. The first of three rounds begins at 12:30pm. The fee for rated, United States Chess Federation members is $15.00. Registration is free for all other entries. Trophies will be awarded to top individuals and to the top female in each section. The winner of the rated section will receive prize money comprised of 85% of the event’s entry fees. Greer P.O Box 4338 Clarksburg, WV 26302 Please make checks payable to the Harrison County Chess Club. About the Harrison County Chess Club The Harrison County Chess Club meets Thursday from 7-9 pm at the Bridgeport Benedum Center.
