Lions Club Chicken Roast

Do you want something really good to eat as you tailgate for the WVU football game in Morgantown against the Youngstown State Penguins or to take on a picnic or to just not have to cook? Stop by the Bridgeport Lions Club Chicken Roast on Saturday, September 8, from 10:00 a.m. until we sell out of chicken. Come to the parking lot of the Bridgeport Middle School on Johnson Avenue to purchase your chicken for $8.00. Any questions can be directed to Lion Roger Murray by calling 304-842-3063. All proceeds will benefit the Bridgeport/Harrison County community. Past projects supported by the Bridgeport Lions Club include the purchase of a defibrillator for the Bridgeport schools, a college scholarship for a graduating senior, sponsorship of the Challenger Baseball League, sponsorship of the Children’s Vision Rehabilitation Program, and many, many other projects to enrich and enhance the lives of others in our community.
