Brilliant Beginnings

A special program for our youngest Bridgeport Public Library users and their caregivers! This 20–30-minute story time introduces books, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, tickles, and bounces developmentally appropriate for children from birth to 2 years old. Brilliant Beginnings is a wonderful way to introduce your child to language skills and the joys of reading in a positive and fun atmosphere. This program is designed for both the child and their caregiver to be actively involved; it is recommended that each child have their own adult with them. This program will be presented in-person and livestreamed onto our Facebook page.
