Citizen's Police Academy

The Bridgeport Police Department will host the Citizen's Police Academy starting January 22nd, 2025 from 5-7pm, through March 12th, 2025. The Academy will take place at Bridgeport City Hall (515 W. Main Street) in Council Chambers.

Learn about law enforcement from experts in: the criminal justice process, domestic violence, traffic collision investigations, DUI arrests, K9 operations, and drones. Gain valuable skills with lessons in: defensive tactics, firearm safety, CPR and first-aid. For questions regarding the academy and to register, please contact Lt. J.
