Bridgeport among Emergency Crews at Local Wreck

A two-vehicle accident in Harrison County that saw the Bridgeport Fire Department respond over the weekend resulted in one person being transported for medical treatment.
The incident took place in the Enterprise area of Harrison County. According to the Harrison-Taylor County 911 log, the Hood Avenue accident call came in at 11:58 a.m. Sunday, July 13.
EMS services transported the individual. There was no word on the severity of the individual’s injuries, but the accident, according to the log, showed that a lane of traffic was temporarily blocked as a result of the incident.
Joining Bridgeport on the scene was the Shinnston and Worthington Fire Department and the Harrison County EMS. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office was on the scene and is handling the investigation.
