City Parks of Clarksburg to Open Redone Playground

The City Parks of Clarksburg is proud to announce the official grand opening of the newly constructed Glen Elk Playground today, Friday, May 8.
The event will feature special photo opportunities as students from the Montessori School are welcomed to experience the brand-new
playground for the first time. Designed with safety, accessibility, and inclusivity in mind, the playground offers a modern, engaging space where children of all abilities can play, explore, and connect.

This new addition to the Glen Elk community provides a safe and inviting environment that encourages active recreation and outdoor activity—an important complement to the hard work students have put in throughout the school year.
City officials and Parks & Recreation representatives will be on site to celebrate the opening and highlight the importance of continued investment in community spaces that support youth development, wellness, and family engagement. All funding for the project was made possible through the City Levy.
Residents, families, and community members are encouraged to attend and be part of this exciting moment for Glen Elk.
