Editor's Note: A summer-long drought, one of the worst in memory, saw water levels drop at a number of area lakes. Bridgeport's Deegan Lake was not the exception. However, as it turned out, the drought was only part of the issue as city officials confirmed an issue with a leak at the lake that is currently under investigation and could, potentially, come with a hefty price tag to fix.
