Harrison County Chamber Announces Inaugural Women’s Success Summit

The Harrison County Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural Women’s Success Summit on Wednesday, October 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the PWA Uptown Event Center in Clarksburg, bringing together local businesswomen, community
leaders, professionals and small business owners for an afternoon built around connection, conversation and inspiration.

Designed to be more than a traditional luncheon, the Women’s Success Summit will create a space for women to hear real stories, share experiences and connect around the challenges, opportunities and defining moments that shape both professional and personal success.
The event’s Title Sponsor is Stockmeier Urethanes USA, Inc., with Melissa Martinkat, Chief Operations Officer, providing the opening welcome.
Guiding the afternoon’s conversation will be Marisa Sayre, Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations for WVU Hospitals, who will serve as moderator.
The featured panel brings together women from across business, leadership and the community who will share candid perspectives on career growth, confidence, balance, resilience, leadership and the paths that helped shape their success.

“This summit is about bringing women into one room and creating the kind of conversations we do not always have the opportunity to hear,” said Marla Ferree. “Success is rarely a straight line. Every woman has a different story, different challenges and different lessons learned along the way. This afternoon is about sharing those experiences, making meaningful connections and reminding women that their story can inspire someone else.”
The Women’s Success Summit is intended to leave attendees with more than notes from a program. It is an opportunity to make new connections, hear honest conversations from women who have navigated their own professional and personal journeys, and walk away with renewed confidence, perspective and motivation.
Tickets are $50 per person and include lunch, networking opportunities, the moderated panel discussion and additional event activities. Attendees will receive a certificate for three hours of personal development from the Chamber Door prizes will be awarded throughout the afternoon, with a grand door prize drawing held at the conclusion of the event.
