Harrison County's Newest Pumpkin Patch has Opened
By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on September 24, 2025
According to WBOY, a brand new pumpkin patch opened up this weekend welcoming families and pumpkin lovers all over north central West Virginia.
Pappy Jacks Pumpkin Patch kicked off the opening weekend with vendors, activities, and of course, pumpkins. The brand new pumpkin patch prides itself on being a high quality pumpkin patch that focuses on family fun.
“We just kind of felt a drive from the community to have something for Shinnston and the surrounding areas and provide for families and most importantly the children,” Owner Chad Pill said.
At the pumpkin patch, you can not only find the patch itself, but you can also find a custom built playground, farm animals, a lounge area, and a hayride. Pill believes in the importance of quality.
