Jamison Field Cleanup Tuesday Morning, August 17

A cleanup at Wayne Jamison Field is set for Tuesday morning, August 17, and help is needed.
As you can see in the video from tonight Simpson Creek has relocated to the athletic complex at Wayne Jamison Field. The varsity, freshman, and newly renovated middle school locker rooms and weight room have a few feet of water in them. When the water recedes overnight we will be left with a muddy mess.
Cleanup will begin at 9 a.m. and if you would like to help or donate items this is what’s needed:
- Pressure washers
- Leaf blowers
- Trash bags
- And lots of cleaning supplies
Being where the field located unfortunately this has happened before and we know what we are up against to get the first floor back to usability for the student athletes so any help is much appreciated.
