Local Business Brings Gardening Expert to Bridgeport

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on June 10, 2025

John Halterman and the Beacon Wealth Management team welcomed the season in full bloom with a vibrant and joy-filled Wisdom 2 Wealth: Gardening event, focused on container flowers at their Bridgeport office.

Attendees gathered for an inspiring and hands-on afternoon led by gardening expert Gayle Rubino, who shared her signature tips and techniques for creating eye-catching container gardens. The event featured a live demonstration where guests learned how to design floral arrangements using color, texture, and balance—perfect for brightening up any outdoor space.

“It was such a joy to host this event,” said John Halterman. “We loved seeing everyone get inspired, connect with one another, and enjoy the beauty of gardening together. We’re so grateful to Gayle Rubino for sharing her time and talent—it truly made the day special.”

Lucky winners from the audience even had the chance to take home their own custom flower containers—created live during the demonstration. Following the workshop, guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and time to connect with fellow garden lovers.
