Weekend Vehicle Fire Destroys FedEx Delivery Truck

This past weekend, Saturday, May 31, a fire in the region destroyed at FedEx delivery truck in the Pennsboro area of Ritchie County.
According to the Pennsboro Volunteer Fire Department, the call went out at 6:15 p.m. for a vehicle fire. The area in question was at the intersection of Route 74 North and Bonds Creek Road.
Two PVFD unit and five members responded. Upon arrival, the truck was fully involved with flames.
It took just a few minutes to get the blaze under control and then completely extinguished. No one was injured in the incident.
The vehicle was recovered by TC Repair Towing & Recovery. Information regarding the cause of the fire was unavailable.
