Bridgeport's Rachel Morgan and School Partner Take Win in Dancing With Our Mountaineer Stars Event

administration major and 2023-24 alternate Mountaineer mascot from Richwood, are the winners of the 11th annual Dancing With Our Mountaineer Stars competition.

Six couples competed for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy Feb. 23 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. Couples also collected nonperishable items for extra points and to support The Rack: WVU Student Food Pantry. In total, the competitors collected more than 1,400 items.
First runners-up are Mary Roush, the 2022-23 Mountaineer mascot representing Undergraduate Admissions, and her dance partner Abbie Lieving, a junior chemical engineering major representing the Society of Women Engineers.
The People’s Choice Award went to Ty McClung and Katie Scott, both representing the Mountaineer Maniacs.
