WVU FallFest, Featuring Jon Bellion, Gucci Mane and Louis the Child, Set for Tuesday Evening

West Virginia University’s 25th annual free, welcome back concert for students – FallFest – is Tuesday, Aug. 20. Featured performances this year are by Jon Bellion, Gucci Mane and Louis the Child.
 
Gates open at 4 p.m. with Bellion taking the stage at 5 p.m. Mane will follow at 6:30 p.m. and Louis the Child at 8 p.m. All performances are expected to conclude at 9:30 p.m. The show will take place rain or shine.
 
FallFest will take place at the Evansdale Rec Fields, adjacent to the Student Rec Center. Free parking will be available beginning at 3 p.m. in WVU Short Term Lot ST9 across from the Art Museum and in WVU Short Term Lot ST1 off Patteson Drive. 
 
Rec Center Drive will be closed from 12 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 through 12 a.m. Wed., Aug. 21.
 
WVU Students must obtain their Welcome Week Wristbands BEFORE coming to FallFest or Food Fest. The Welcome Week Wristband Activation schedule can be found at on the WVU website at welcomeweek.wvu.edu/events. WVU Students with a valid Welcome Week Wristband are permitted one guest age 17 and older. WVU Students with guests may enter any gate. Guest tickets are not required, but guests should be prepared to show proof of age. Welcome Week Wristbands will be scanned at the gates.
