City Faces in Different Places

By Julie Perine on June 19, 2022 from City Faces

This week’s Bridgeport City Face is Tara Linch. Meet her and her family here!

Tell me about you and your family and how long you've lived in Bridgeport.
I am a graduate of Liberty High School and grew up in Clarksburg, WV. My husband’s name is Abraham, and we have a 4-year-old daughter named Reagan. I also have two bonus children Malachi (16) and Abigail (14). My husband and I bought our home about two years ago in Bridgeport and we love our neighborhood.

How did you and your husband meet?
We met through my brother in 2011 and we were married in July almost eight years ago

Why do you like it here?
I like the small town living and the schools!!

What's your favorite event here in our city?
I love the summer kickoff event. It’s nice seeing all the families out enjoying each other’s company .

What about a spot that you frequent?
My daughter and I love going to Bridgeport City Park.

Where do you work and what do you do there?
Miss Lucy’s Child Care , helping to mold little minds ??

What are some of your favorite pastimes and hobbies?
I love to cook for my friends and family and love reading a good book

Tell us about one of your favorite Bridgeport memories.
My first Light Up Night was absolutely beautiful, it almost felt magical . I look forward to going every year.

What are your favorite area foods/restaurants?
Oliverio’s, Almost Heaven Desserts ,and Farmhouse Ice Cream are our favorite places to eat.

What tunes are on your playlist?
I find myself listening to Christian must most.

What about favorite movies or TV shows? Are you streaming anything now or have recently that you recommend?

I love a good Hallmark movie any day , and my husband and I just finished The Lincoln Lawyer, which I definitely recommend.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Ireland. I have always wanted to go there since I was a little girl.

What is one or more of your past favorite vacations?
I loved going to Outer Banks with my whole family. It was always the best time.
