BHS All-Sports Boosters Video Released; Membership Remains Open

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on September 11, 2020

Do you know all the great things that result from your BHS All-Sports Boosters membership? Tribe senior athletes will tell you all about it in this newly-released video created by BHS alum Parker Shepherd. See it HERE and read the letter from the BHS All-Sports Boosters board below.

Dear Parents and Friends:

The Bridgeport High School All-Sports Boosters are holding their annual membership drive for the 2020-2021 school year. We understand this will be a difficult year with many challenges. We as a community need to work together and continue the great tradition we have built at Bridgeport High School.

This year, because of the circumstances, we will not be selling football tickets nor parking passes to the games. Membership dues are $40 per family, plus with each membership you will receive one Chrome Logo Decal ($20.00 value) for your vehicle to show your pride for Bridgeport Indians. We are encouraging ALL friends and parents of BHS athletes to join. Membership entitlements this year will include the opportunity to purchase The LIVE Streaming Event Package from NFHS network.

This is our fifth year for LIVE streaming service. Last year, we made some great improvements with new cameras. All events in the BHS high school gymnasium and on the football field will be broadcast. Playoff games, if covered by the NFHS network, would be included in your package at no additional cost. So if you can’t be there to watch the Indians in person, you can still see the game LIVE on your computer, tablet, or phone. Your membership includes an access code good for 3 devices(IP Addresses) and provides access to any NFHS broadcast of high school events across the country. The BHS All-Sports Boosters Member price is $35 for fall sports, $35 for winter sports or $70 for the year for the 2020-2021 Annual Pass including fall, winter and spring Seasons. Join the Boosters, enjoy the perks & the significant discount!

You may return your membership form and payment to Sam Olivio by mailing it to the address above. Chrome Auto Logos will be mailed. For quicker service, please print application (download HERE), fill it out and scan the form to solivio88@gmail.com Write your check number on the form and mail the check. This will allow us to get your Live Stream Access.

Last year the Boosters raised over $30,000 with memberships, concession sales and various other fundraisers. The money funds ALL sports at BHS: to pay for meals for student athletes traveling to out-of-county sporting events; to pay ticket and game workers for both football and basketball games, fund the Larry Burner Memorial Scholarship, fund BHS All-Sports Boosters Athletic Scholarships annually and to maintain the concession stands. An annual donation is made to the general athletic fund of Bridgeport High School. Please help support our community’s student athletes by joining the BHS All-Sports Boosters!

Thank you!

Sincerely, BHS All-Sports Boosters 2020-2021 BHS All-Sports Boosters Board President: Sierra Miller Vice-President: Robyn Poling Secretary: Maria Spatafore Treasurer: Julie Love Members at Large: April Boggs, Bobbi Jo Harbert Membership Coordinator: Sam Olivio BHS Administrator: Matt DeMotto
