Silver Stallion: A Country Legend Tribute to the Highwaymen Coming to Robinson Grand in June

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on January 26, 2024

Big Time Entertainment, LLC, in partnership with the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center, is excited to announce that Silver Stallion: A Country Legend Tribute to the Highwaymen is coming to downtown Clarksburg at 8 p.m. on Friday at the historic Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center.

Silver Stallion is an homage to the outlaws of country featuring tributes to Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash. All the Highwaymen’s great songs are included: “Silver Stallion,” “Live Forever,” “The Highwayman,” and many more, along with individual classics like “Lukenbach Texas,” “On the Road Again,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “Help Me Make It Through the Night,” and more.

“This show is an authentic tribute right down to the voices, mannerisms, and clothing of the legendary Highwaymen,” said Jason A Young, the Program Manager at the Robinson Grand. “We expect this show to sell well and quickly, so don’t snooze on getting your tickets.”

Silver Stallion features Jeff Tankersley as Johnny Cash, Frank Perry as Waylon Jennings, Larry Walsh as Willie Nelson, and Alan Tedders as Kris Kristofferson. Silver Stallion is the first tribute to The Highwaymen to feature all four members.

“You need only check out Silver Stallion’s videos and photos to know they are the real deal,” said Young. “Unfortunately, the original Highwaymen will never play the Robinson Grand stage, but with Silver Stallion you will struggle to believe it isn’t the real thing.”

Tickets for Silver Stallion: a Country Legend Tribute to The Highwaymenstart at only $25 and went on sale to “Friends of the Robinson Grand” on Tuesday and will be available to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 26.

All tickets can be purchased online at tickets.therobinsongrand.com or by calling the Robinson Grand ticketing center at (855) 773-6283.
