Valentine Cookie Making, Kids' Craft Classes Set by Bridgeport Parks and Rec

Space is limited for two upcoming Valentine-themed events at Benedum Civic Center.
On Wed., Feb. 7, a Creative Kids class will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. The class is intended for kid ages 5-10 and the cost is $10 each. Each participant will make a 10-inch magnetic Valentine picture frame, a love bug, and a bird feeder, and will receive a bag to take crafts home in. All supplies are included. Parents are welcome to stay or may drop the kids off.
Tuesday, Feb. 13 will feature a cookie decorating class by Megan Oliverio. Participants must be aged 13 or over. The cost is $67 each and includes all supplies to decorate cookies. Each student will learn the required techniques to decorate six different cookie designs and take them home to enjoy.
To register for either class, stop at the Civic Center office or call 304-842-8240. The Benedum Civic Center is located at 164 West Main Street, Bridgeport.
