Time Travel: Going Back to 1978 with City Lions Club and Visiting a Well-Known Clarksburg Restaurant

By Dick Duez on October 20, 2019 from History Blog

This photo from 1978 shows members of the Bridgeport Lions Club presenting Life Packs to the Bridgeport Fire Department. Do you recognize the individuals? If so, please add then in the comment section below.
Remember the Chatterbox in the Adamston section of Clarksburg? It was located on Pike Street and was a community fixture for years before it closed down.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dick.do@frontier.com.
