See anyone you recognize? This is a photo of the Bridgeport High School majorettes from 1969. Pictured, believed to be from left, are Sandy Williams, Carol Nelson, Susan Payez, Gwen Showalter, Edie Orr, Nancy Scott, Ginny Showalter, Frankie Todd, Cindy Pick and Jennie Frey. Kneeling is head majorette Libby Clutter.
Although not sure of the date of this newspaper advertisement, it's possibly 100 years old. And was common at one time. This is from Elkins.
