Time Travel: Mayor Furbee at Early Benedum Festival Event and Country Star Roy Acuff in Clarksburg

The man on the right if the late Carl Furbee having a laugh and a piece of cake. This photo, believed to be from the mid 1990s is also believed to be from one of the first Michael Benedum Festival events held in Bridgeport. The photo was provided by Ruth Allen. If anyone has more information on the photo, or knows who the man to the left is, provide it in the comment section below.
This photo, from the West Virginia Regional & History Center, shows country music star Roy Acuff, third from left, inside the Clarksburg WPDX studios. The date is unknown, but could be from the 1940s or 1950s. The other three individuals were not named, but the photo was acquired for the center from Chris Kidwell. If you have any information on when this was, or who the other individuals might be, add it to the comment section below.
