Time Travel: Recalling a School Hike for Many Years Ago and a Famous Downtown Clarksburg Building

Anyone remember taking this walk up Orchard Avenue? This photo from 1987 was back when the top of the hill led you to Bridgeport Junior High School to the building that now houses Heritage Christian School. Generations walked this roadway to head in for their learnings. Share your memories below.
This the Palace Furniture Building from 1935 on Main Street in Clarksburg. This was the first concrete reinforced building in West Virginia. It was done by Frank Duff McEnteer, who also built Bridgeport's Bowstring Bridge that still stands today. This building today is an apartment complex.
