Bridge Work to Cause I-79 Lane Closure North of City

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be Lane Closure on Interstate 79 from the West Virginia-Pennsylvania State Line to Mile Post 155.50 beginning on Monday, August 19, 2019 at noon. through Friday, August 30, 2019 at
6 p.m. (24 hr/day).
The purpose for the closure is to correct bridge approaches identified since major work was completed. Work will be performed on Interstate 79 Northbound Inside Lane (fast lane). The Northbound Outside Lane (slow lane) will be open at this time. A Lane Closure will be in place for the duration of this phase of work. Expect Delays.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
