BMS Student Savanna Sherrard Selected to Participate in Naval Academy's Summer STEM Program

Bridgeport Middle School eight grader Savanna Sherrard has been selected to participate in in the 2024 Naval Academy Summer Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program.
The program allows students to explore, create, build and expand critical thinking and collaboration skills while experiencing world-class facilities at one of the country’s top engineering programs.
Additionally, students will have the opportunity to experience Naval Academy education provided to Midshipmen while interacting with like-minded students from all over the world who share an interest in STEM.
Sherrard was one of 330 students selected out of 5,000 applicants.
