Bridgeport Farmers Market Commemorative Posters Designed by Base Camp Printing on Sale Now

By Trina Runner on May 22, 2020

For 12 seasons, the Bridgeport Farmers Market has enriched the lives of locals with their farm-fresh produce, flowers, meat selection, and artisans. This year, patrons can take a piece of the market home with them to commemorate the impact it has had on their lives.  For the first time ever, the Bridgeport Farmers Market is selling one-of-a-kind posters designed by Base Camp Printing, a West Virginia company that specializes in handmade letterpress printing on vintage equipment.

“We have been wanting to create an original commemorative piece for a long time,” said Debbie Workman. “We were able to collaborate with Base Camp Printing and they created the perfect poster, capturing all the elements that make up the Bridgeport Farmers Market.”

Base Camp Printing has become synonymous with preserving the unique feel of West Virginia’s treasures. Whether capturing landmarks, cultural icons, or nature, the company is dedicated to customizing prints that fit perfectly in any home or business.

“The company was able to really get the aesthetic of the Bridgeport Farmer’s Market and make a collectible 11x17 inch poster on quality cardstock ready to frame,” said Workman.

Currently, the market is open on a drive-through, pre-order basis, but when business gets back to the usual Sunday experience, Workman will have posters available to purchase on site. For now, patrons and Bridgeport natives can order the poster by visiting www.bridgeportfarmersmarket.com. Considerations are being made to expand the poster design to reusable bags and stickers in the future. Additionally, artisans and vendors may also be willing to sign posters for patrons once the market is fully opened again.
All proceeds from the sale of posters will be used to continue the mission of the market, providing locally grown products and nutrition.

“We love that we were able to collaborate with such a great company to bring this piece of the market to the public,” said Workman. “We have already received orders from all across the country and we are happy to ship them anywhere.”
