With scholarship season in full swing, students are striving to make the best possible score on their ACT tests.  The Bridgeport High School Academic Boosters will be sponsoring an ACT Prep Course for high school juniors and seniors, which is designed to teach the reading, English, science, math and writing skills needed to ace the test.

In addition to the content, the course will also teach students important test-taking skills and strategies to maximize their scores.

The course will be offered on Feb. 24, March 2, March 9, March 16, and March 23, running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each session.

A full practice test will be administrered on March 28 at 8 a.m. in room 104 at BHS.

Spring dates for the ACT are April 4 and June 13, with registration available at www.act.org.  The cost of the ACT Test Prep Course is $150 and includes books and all materials. The class is limited and preregistration is required.

Additional information can be found by contacting Mrs. Renee Mathews at Bridgeport High School’s main office.
