Bridgeport Lions Club Spaghetti Dinner Scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Benedum Civic Center

The Bridgeport Lions Club will holds its annual fall spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Benedum Civic Center.
The is a drive-thru event at the parking lot of the Civic Center between the Civic Center and the Main Street Bridgeport Dairy Queen.
The cost of the meal is a donation of $10. The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and cookies. Funds raised from the event will go toward the many projects the Lions Club does in the City of Bridgeport.
"This is a very popular event in our town, and we have always had a good response," said Estelle Rice, the project chairperson. "People can drive up and pick up dinner and never get out of their cars."
Be sure and go early. Although the event last until 7 p.m., it will close early if they run out of food.
