Davisson Brothers Band Hitting the Road for Nationwide Radio Tour

Bigger Pictures Group, LLC President Michael Powers said the first time he heard the Davisson Brothers Band, he was absolutely blown away.
He believes others across the nation will have the same reaction. That’s why he has chosen the band to be featured in his company Star Farm Nashville's first national radio tour.
In just days, the Davisson Brothers Band – Chris, Donnie and Sammy Davisson and Aaron Regester, who have built a huge fan base far beyond their West Virginia stomping grounds – will hit the road.
“You can bet we will visit the biggest and best key radio stations on this tour,” said Parker, known in “Music City” for successful promotion of artists including Chris Cagle, Craig Campbell and the Zac Brown Band, among others.
The plan is to tour six to eight weeks, taking the band’s new single – yet to be named – to its impact week.
“We feel that a strong relationship with the radio community is the key element for artists," Powers said.
Although the band has a dynamic “rockabilly” sound – blending elements of rock and country with the Davissons’ signature Appalachian undertones – he said the personalities behind the music are just as powerful.
“I fell in love with the sound,” said Powers about the first time he heard them at a Bigger Picture Artist Show in Nashville, “but then after I got to really know Chris, Donnie, Sammy and Aaron, I found a much deeper love for their music.”
Powers describes the artists and the music they produce as infectiously original - and so very real.
“It's the kind of sound that built Nashville and country music; it’s been rare these past few years, and it was so very refreshing to hear a real country band again,” Powers said. “Star Farm Nashville is so very proud to make this our first focus at radio.”
The schedule, Powers said, depends upon the band’s appearance schedule.
“The guys are still doing an awful lot of shows and so we want to be able to work around that,” he said.
During a very recent week-long writing session in Nashville, the band – and some writing buddies - pumped out nine brand new tunes, which will be added to its already extensive repertoire.
“Then we just kind of took a step back to see if something we’d written outweighed something we already had,” Davisson said. “We haven’t made that decision yet.”
This past week, the band has been working with Powers on media training and advance tour work.
“We’ve been meeting some players and decision makers and will be 
starting the tour within the next couple of weeks,” Davisson said.

An announcement will be made soon as to the release date of the new single - a feature tune of the band's latest recording being produced by Powers and Keith Segel.
The radio tour will feature stops in about 60 major cities. It will be fun and very high-energy, Powers said. It will be an excellent exposure opportunity for the Davisson Brothers Band.
“There will be a lot of opportunity for programmers to be included in the show - and contribute their marketing thoughts and ideas etc.,” he said. “We are going to be meeting with some of the best marketing people in the world and I am sure some very strong moments and ideas will come out of the tour.”
In working with national radio markets to set up tour stops, Powers feels confident he has a product which will sell.
“We feel that when we walk into a radio station, we won't be wasting anybody’s time,” he said. “These guys are going to bring it hard and blow people away.”
