Having finished his residency in Ophthalmology at West Virginia University, Dr. Clinton Jordan is joining UHC Ophthalmology.
Dr. Jordan graduated from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, minoring in Spanish. While at Brigham Young, he was a volunteer translator and intake coordinator of the Volunteer Care Clinic.
Dr. Jordan continued his volunteer work while studying at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. There he worked with the Athlete Health Organization, giving physicals to high school students. He also served as a Spanish translator at Puentes de Salud Clinic.
Upon getting his Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson where he was an honor student, he came to West Virginia to further his education.
Dr. Jordan has done extensive research on corneal collagen crosslinking, diabetic retinopathy, and pediatric vision screening. His research on corneal collagen crosslinking continues. When he’s not working, Dr. Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, playing the guitar and songwriting, and outdoor activities such as rock climbing and snowboarding.
