Harrison County Man who Owned, Operated a Small Business, Russell "Russ" Keith Myers, Passes at 57

Russell “Russ” Keith Myers, 57 of Bristol passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at his residence. Russ was born March 12, 1965 in Clarksburg, son of Shirley L Greynolds Myers of Bristol and the late Albert Lee Myers Jr. 
 
Russ graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1984. He was an OTR Trucker for thirty plus years and at last had his own company, RKM Trucking. Russ enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, especially his driver Davey Allison.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and WVU Mountaineer Fan.
 
In addition to his mother, Russ is survived by his sister, Rhonda Leigh Altman and husband Richard, Bristol; aunts and uncles, Carolyn Holt and Buddy, Belle, Nancy Zimmerman and Gunther, Warrenton, VA, Patty Bennett, Lost Creek, Shirley Ashcraft and Randall, Salem, Jean Myers, Shinnston, Frank Dennison, Bristol, Mike Edleman, McLean, VA; and several cousins.
 
In addition to his father, Russ was preceded in death by his aunt and uncles, Judy Dennison, Ronald “Pete” Myers, and Robert Bennett.
 
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2-8PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry McKim officiating. Interment will follow at Big Isaac Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to www.DavisFuneralHomeSalemWV.com.  Davis Funeral Home- Salem is honored to serve the Myers family.
