Locust Heights & Western Railroad in Clarksburg Set to be Up and Running with Planned June 5 Opening

Locust Heights & Western Railroad, which is located along US Route 19 southwest of Clarksburg in Harrison County, looks to be opening soon for it warm weather schedule.
According to a post on its Facebook page, the privately owned railroad is set to open June 5 barring any unforeseen problems. If you follow their social media page, you will find that volunteers have been working for some time to prepare it for public use.
