Person Found Dead in Parking Lot of Area Par-Mar

This morning, July 9, 2024, at approximately 1:52 a.m., 911 dispatched a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at the Huttonsville Par-Mar. Deputy S.R. Davis, Sheriff Elbon, Deputy Z.T. Pingley responded to this location.
The accident was fatal for the pedestrian. The accident is currently under investigation.
The name of the deceased will be withheld at this time, pending family notification. More details will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
