Plenty of Familiar Faces Take Part in Induction Event as Bridgeport Rotary Club's Membership List Grows

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on October 16, 2020

SUBMITTED TO CONNECT-BRIDGEPORT

The Bridgeport Rotary Club had their October Luncheon Meeting on Oct. 13 at the Best Western in Bridgeport.  Highlights from the meeting included the induction of new members and guest speaker Mayor Andy Lang discussing the North Central West Virginia Regional Airport.

A reminder was given to members that on Oct. 24, 2020 the Bridgeport Rotary Club will be competing with the Clarksburg Rotary Club to raise monies for Polio Plus Foundation.  The fun will begin noon at the VA Park miniature park golf course in Clarksburg.

Editor's Note: Top photo shows shows the induction of new Rotarians. From left, Bradley Ford - owner of Ford Funeral Home and president of the Bridgeport Rotary Club; Rebeccan Hunn co-chairperson of membership for District 7545; Randy Wetmore - city manager of Bridgeport; Tim Stout – Clear Mountain Bank; Rod Garner – Climatrol, Inc.; and Dave Cooper – District Governor elect who did the induction of new members.  The second picture is Mayor Andy Lang providing information about the Airport Authority.
