Simpson Elementary Students Give Back to Community During Holiday Season

Throughout this holiday season, Simpson Elementary’s 4th and 5th grade students gave back to their community.
During the month of December, they took part in a community service project, collecting items for The Shepherd’s Corner, a charity organization located in Bridgeport. Each week, students focused on donating different items needed at this time by The Shepherd’s Corner. The students then walked to The Shepherd’s Corner to deliver the collected items.
“When we delivered the items, I felt blessed for being able to help those in need," said Aiden, a Simpson Elementary fifth grader.
