Two Men Arrested Following High Speed, Multi-County Chase that Headed through Several Areas of City

According to WDTV, two men have been arrested in connection to high-speed pursuit that ended in Harrison County Tuesday night and went into several areas of Bridgeport.
Coureon Thomas and Nasir Finney were arrested after the incident, according to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
Thomas was driving the vehicle and is charged with fleeing, deputies said. Finney was the passenger in the vehicle and is charged with conspiracy.
Deputies said Thomas and Finney were given clear visual and audible signals to stop the vehicle and continued on. The chase began on I-79, continued on Route 50 and Airport Road and ultimately, ended with the deployment of stop sticks on the 125 Saltwell Road exit ramp.
Thomas drove the vehicle, a 2024 white Hyundai Elantra, at speeds up to 130 miles per hour, deputies said.
The Bridgeport Police were among multiple agencies that responded.
