By Savanna Draper on February 01, 2023 from Off the Shelf

The library is debuting some new and exciting programs for the month of February! We will be offering something new for children, teens, and adults this month as well as several of the programs you know and enjoy. This month, there is truly something for everyone, so come check us out!

Beginning with programs for adults, we will be hosting Tech Savvy Seniors on February 8th from 1:00-2:30 PM where our senior patrons will get some hands-on practice with using a computer. On February 9th from 4:00-5:00 PM, we will be hosting another new program, Basics of Graphic Design: Greeting Card. In this program, you will learn the basics of Canva to create a card for someone special.

On February 10th from 3:30-5:00 PM, join us for Hobby Seekers: Crochet where we try out crocheting. On February 14th, we will be 3D printing dice from 3:30-5:00 PM. 3D printing classes have been popular, so check our event calendar for an additional offering of this program. On February 21st from 3:30-5:00 PM, we will explore Virtual Reality on our Oculus Quest 2. Join us again on February 21st from 5:00-7:00 PM for another session of Signing Made Easy. This program is appropriate for all ages. February 22nd brings us another new program, Discover Your Roots from 5:00-7:00 PM, where we will get started with genealogy and uncover our family heritage. On February 28th from 1:00-3:30 PM, join us for a matinee showing of Where the Crawdads Sing with popcorn provided.

We also have plenty of fun things in store for children and teens! On February 3rd from 5:00-6:30 PM, we will have a family matinee showing of Gnomeo and Juliet with popcorn provided. Join us for the familiar Picking Up S.T.E.A.M. class on February 14th from 4:00-5:00 PM. A brand new program, Beginning Ballet, will be offered on February 17th from 3:30-4:00 PM.
