BHS Claims No. 1 Seed for Class AAA State Tournament; Indians to Face Elkins in Opening Round

The Bridgeport High School boys basketball team ended the regular season as the top-ranked team, were the No. 1 seed in the Class AAA Region II tournament and are now the No. 1 seed for the state tournament.
The Indians defeated Hampshire, 56-23, to secure their first trip to Charleston since the 2022-23 season while in Class AAAA.
BHS will face No. 8 Elkinsin the first round at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Charleston Coliesum and Convention Center.
