BHS Picks Up Tune-Up Games with Philip Barbour, Williamstown; Indians Set to Face Colts Today

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 15, 2024

The Bridgeport High School baseball team picked up a pair of tune-up games prior to the start of next week’s regional tournament.

The Indians, with a record of 29-4, will take on Philip Barbour at 5:30 p.m. today and Williamstown at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Both games will be played at the BHS baseball field (weather permitting).

The Class AAA Region I tournament will begin on Monday with Bridgeport, the Section 2 champion, taking on Morgantown, the Section 1 champion.

The regional tournament will be a best of three format.

Game 2 will be in Morgantown and if a Game 3 is necessary it will be back in Bridgeport.

Stay tuned to Connect-Bridgeport if the rain in today's forcast forces a change to the Philip Barbour game.
